Gaps in your Diet

Getting all of your daily recommended nutrients from food is ideal. But the reality is that it is super hard get everything you need from food alone. According to health experts, 90+% of people are not not getting enough of least one or more of the necessary vitamins and minerals daily. According to the CDC, almost 20% of Americans are not getting even 1 serving of vegetables a day and almost 35% are not getting even 1 serving of fruit daily.

If you are like most people, you are probably not getting enough vitamins and minerals from your diet either. The federal government recommends 10 servings of fruits and vegetables per day. That equates to  11/2 to 2 cups of fruit and 2 to 3 cups of vegetables daily.
